What is it?
The Avatars
The avatars Zaire (black man), Amara (black woman), Solina (latina woman), Tahuya (indigenous man) and Caela (white woman) have formed a band to perform songs that lift hope, open new possibilities, and empower themselves, as well as others, to change who they can be … and the world. They begin with their new song: Freedom’s Revolution.
Zaire is one of the lead vocalists in the band. He holds the voice of power – the power of flow – the flow of healing, compassion, passion, and joy… as a river moves through mountains of rock … a river that changes the nature of the terrain … His power flows through music and soul.
Amara, also a lead vocalist, holds the vocal soul of freedom’s revolution with her love, power, and compassion – in her strength.
Solina, a latina woman, plays guitar. She unites rhythm with the radiance of strength and beauty through the storytelling of her chords.
Tahuya is an indigenous American who plays drums and rhythms. He holds the heart of the land in his voice, feeling the earth’s pulse and connecting to ancient knowing.
Caela, a white woman, plays the keyboard and synthesizer. She dreams new dreams in the liminal and unknown of life, weaving new portals with her music.
